Reboot After Update, Plus 100% Cpu For Gzserv.exe
Hi,
I have paid version of Bitdefender Antivirus on several of my home computers, and it has worked well.
I have the free version on my soon-to-be-mothballed XP machine, and it hasn't been going as well over the past few weeks.
I frequently get the pop-up that the program has updated, and that I need to reboot.
That is slightly annoying, but it gets much worse. If I defer the reboot, at some point gzserv.exe starts to take over my CPU cycles. The size of the process stays very small, but it bounces around from 60-100% of CPU utilization, forcing me to do the reboot immediately. (Sometimes even that is difficult, because the system becomes unresponsive.
I'm attaching the last few days of gzserv.log entries.
Thanks for your help,
