Help!
My problem is that everytime I try to install the program "BitDefender Internet Security 2008", while it shows Status: Copying new files, it appears a message box: "Error writing into the file C:\Program files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2008\bdfsfltr.sys. Be sure that you have access to that directory". Then installation fails because althought I select Retry it appears the same.
I have got Windows XP SP2, and in other opportunities I could use the program, please could you help me? Thanks.

I have read the Topic but I couldn`t solve my problem...
First of all, I couldn`t reboot in Safe Mode because when I tried (following your instructions), before Welcome Screen shows it rebooted again, I tried it several times.
Then, I went to C:\Program Files and I right clicked on it, I chose Share tab, but all the options of that tab were locked (I couldn`t change them). I made sure I booted Windows as Administrator.
Perhaps you should show me the instructions with images because I don`t understand... Or try something else...
Anyway I tried again to run BitDefender Installer but it appear the same error.0 -
Dear YulY,
You really need to press very quick several times on the F8 button after you see the BIOS screen. You will see some text press to give you an example F5 to enter setup after that you have to press several times the F8 button. After that you will see the windows advancedmenu where you can select safe mode. You can only change these settings once your are logged in that specific administrator account which is only available in safe mode. Take a look here. So you have to press F8 before you see that splash screen.
Best regards
