Uninstall For Mac Version, Uninstaller Does Not Work For Mac Vers

I have tried to uninstall BitDefender on my Mac and while it "appears" it is gone, it's not. There is still a process running, BDDDaemon, which is a BitDefender process that's running as root and is using 300-700 MB of RAM depending on when I check it.

I've run the uninstaller many times and have rebooted. I removed it from my /Applications folder. Still no luck.

I see many people here have have BitDefender contact them, but no solutions are posted. What gives? " />

System: OS X 10.8.4

I think you need to run an uninstall ****** here. You might need to check with support as this tool is not given out on the forums.
