Manual Update Doesn't Work
When I run 64-bit version of weekly.exe it fails with the message "Make sure you have Bitdefender installed". The automatic updates fail to download. I have tried the downadup worm removal tool which doesn't find anything. I cannot access the Bitdefender download site from this computer or any other on my LAN. I have "The New Bitdefender" installed.

It seems that you are trying to install the virus definitions for Bitdefender 2013 on a PC running the new Bitdefender.
Please follow these steps instead and make sure to download and run the corresponding patch:

If the issue persists please try to ping upgrade.bitdefender.com and post back the results.
