Total Security - Install Fails Says No Internet Connection

Hi all. I have a purchased 2013 edition of Total security which I am trying to install on my wife's laptop. It fails as soon as I try to run it, says straight away that an internet connection is required to install bitdefender.

However the laptop does have a working wired internet connection. I even downloaded another copy of the install file from the target laptop and it still fails in exactly the same way.

I have tried disabling the wireless adapter and the bluetooth in case it was getting confused, still no go. Any ideas please anyone, getting a little frustrated here

Guys this is now fixed. I had windows firewall turned off but the service was still running. Stopped the service, re-booted for the 'n'th time and then I could install OK. Not sure if this is the root cause but whatever, all working now.

Maybe you can also add a rule or an exception at the firwall so you won't be having this issue in the future.
