Can't Connect Many Games

running BD IS2008 with Windows Vista 32

Call of Duty 4: doesn't appear servers in the lobby. But I can play if I connect from a game browser (qtracker).

GTR2, RACE07 and GTLegends (Simbin games): servers appear on the lobby, click and doesn't connect.

Other games run well (Live For Speed, Counter Strike Source...)

History:

- All games was runing fine. I decided to test BD Total Security for 30 days. After evalutaion period, games became blocked.

- Try to uninstall BD: no results.

- Try to turn of Vista FW and Defender: no results.

- Bought BD IS2008: no results.

All games are shown on the Activity tab as ALLOWED, and the ports that appear there are ALLOWED too.

I don't know and I can't find a way to open specific doors.

Is there a way to clean the registry, or other any trick to allow the access for these games? Pay attention: this games was connecting before BD validation time has expirated.

I'l apreciate too much any help. I'm really not interested in the idea of reinstall Vista and tons of programs again.

TIA everybody

Whats the status of your Vista Windows integrated firewall,is it ON?

Turn it off from the services panel so the firewall from the BD suite to work properly.

    It's off of course :)

I think I need to open specific doors, but I can't find a way to do this in BD...

  • Dear Silvio Camolesi,

Open BitDefender Internet Security press on settings once you are in the BitDefender security center or right click on the red BitDefender icon near the system clock press on open advanced settings. Go to the firewall section press on the traffic control tab press on the add button now you have to use the browse option to explore to the installation directory of your games and select the executable(s) that are needed to play the game online. To open a specific port you need to press on the advanced button.

    Best regards
