Wallet Password

HI There,


I installed bitdefender on a new machine a couple of days ago and setup the 'Wallet' feature using a password I know and use for many applications.


Almost instantly when I am then asked to enter the password on a system restart, it says the password is incorrect. I have no idea how this can be, but also, there seems to be no available option to reset the password or recover it.


Any ideas please?

    Welcome to the Bitdefender forums.


    Wallet doesn't work properly if the master password is bigger than 20 characters. However, we released a potential fix for this issue with the latest product update, build version 17.17.0.773). You have all the details over here:

    Please right click on the Bitdefender icon located in system tray and from the menu select "Update Now". Reboot the PC if requested, then check if the issue persists.
