'bitdefender Services Are Loading Now Please Wait'

I have BD Total Security 2013 on MS Windows 7 Professional.

The above message appeared today as a hover over the BD icon.

When I click on the BD icon it shows me: You are currently protected There are no issues to fix

However, I carried out a quick scan and the Antivirus message still says 'Last scan: yesterday'

I'm in the process of doing a full system scan but wondered if this was

1) a problem

2) a serious or common problem?

afaik the scan last run refers only to a system scan. the services loading after starting the operating system is normal. it change to autopilot or just the white B after that.
