Auto Renewal Problem

A week ago on Sep 6 I received an email that my Bitdefender license is going to expire on Sep 12 and informed me about the auto renewal option for 69.99 which I then immediately went online and cancelled. (or I thought I did...)


Then I purchased an upgrade to Total Security for 29.99 and received confirmation.


I was amazed yesterday on Sep 12 to receive another notification about auto-renewal and another charge of 69.99.


I contacted Bitdefender customer support right away on their support web site asking to refund the auto-renewal charge.


They don't respond. also emailed Avangate support and they too don't respond.


Could someone here advise me how to get a refund for the auto-renewal charge ?


I will have no choice but to contact my credit card company and report a non authorized charge.
