Try downloading a fresh copy of the installer from one of the two pinned topics at the top of this section:

If the error persists, check your hard drive you are downloading it to for errors as well. Finally, check your system memory is healthy with memtest for example.0 -
Hello panos73,
Welcome to the Bitdefender forums.
For this installation error I would recommend following the steps below:
1) Go to Control Panel and uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010
2) Access C:\windows\system32\msvcr100.dll and delete msvcr100.dll
3) Run CCleaner to clean your computer's registry and temporary files. If you have a registry cleaner already installed, you can use that one instead.
4) Delete all the Bitdefender installation kits and use this one instead for Bitdefender Internet Security:

Let me know how is everything going. Have a nice day ahead!0 -

@ panos73
In that case, please jump directly to step 4. Let me know if the installation finishes successfully with the indicated kit.

Hello,
We have compiled a new Bitdefender kit which solves this installation error. Please download the corresponding kit from this topic:
http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=46845
Save it on your PC, then run it to begin the installation.
Let me know how it goes, thank you!0
