repeatedly now, on a standard DELL precision/xp pro/sp2 box keeps disabling its realtime and manual file scanner without warning.
selecting 'fix' in any way the program offers it, does not respond and only a reinstall or repair works...and that means reinserting the key, rebooting twice, etc.
we do proprietary legal work here and cannot send logs to anyone...as requested by tech support.
we licensed for three machines, and hope we can get a lead here as our only alternative is to can the software and not come back.
no traces of previous norton or kaspersky installs are visible either though windows of jvpowertools' software manager.
can someone please give us a lead, as this is too scary to find ourselves suddenly..and so far, days or hours in a few cases, without a realtime scanner.
