Dear Bitdefender(s),
Following the troubles I have had with your products I have uninstalled on this Win8 Pro (x64) machine.
Doing some housekeeping I notice that the Software Environment is left 'dirty' after doing a complete uninstall/removal using your own uninstaller as well as the 'New Bitdefender Uninstall Tool' and the ' BD2013 Uninstall tool'.
It appears that you have not managed to clean registry/startup services in three attempts at removing your own product as per below entry:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
InstallerLauncher "c:\program files\common files\bitdefender\setupinformation\{6f57816a-791a-4159-a75f-cfd0c7ea4fbf}\setuplauncher.exe" /run:"c:\program files\common files\bitdefender\setupinformation\{6f57816a-791a-4159-a75f-cfd0c7ea4fbf}\installer.exe" Public HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It appears that the ....\common files\bitdefender\.... folder is removed, but clearly some registry parts are forgotten

I took out a 2013 family pack subscription just prior to you launching "The New Bitdefender". There were problems with the 2013 Windows 8 combination, but you proudly announced that all would be resolved if users moved to the new version. They were of course not, as seen in both your forums and in my previous direct support requests. There were also a host of stability issuses introduced, which required module updates/system restarts up to several time a day. The sort you only really should see in a beta version.
I took out your offer because of supposedly independent reviews claiming that your software was 'smartest'. It may be that you catch most 'in the wild' nasties, but your interfaces and the user interactions required on clean and well running systems leave lots to be desired.
I have good experiences with ESET and Kaspersky and have currently had to revert to those on two of three machines. The third, a Windows 7 (x32) laptop that is only started every two weeks/monthly will have to be taken back to ESET or Kaspersky as it stands currently, because your software renders the system entirely unusable when it hasn't been started and updated for a couple of weeks. Even the McAfee suite that came free with this system has a better interface and less system impact.
It is disappointing to have wasted considerable time testing/debugging your software and then also find that even the 'get out'/removal process is buggy.
Can you please provide a working fix for complete removal of all remnants of your products?
Thanks in advance!
