Bitdefender Vulnerability Scan Not Up-to-date (again?)

Some time ago, people complained about the vulnerability scan in Bitdefender 2012

not being up to date. This was supposedly fixed back in the 2012 product version.

In the 2014 Version (wihich I've just installed) the Vulnerability scan does not seem

up to date either. The "most recent" releases are all way too old.

Please see the attached screenshot. ("Auf dem neuesten Stand" translates as "up to date").

Can anyone confirm this issue?

I can confirm it isn't showing current builds. Also it suggests installing a newer version of Adobe Reader on Windows Vista which isn't officially supported by Adobe. I have the latest update installed (10.1.8.24). It is set to automatically update and does so successfully. Adobe only support Version 10 on Vista and not 11.

Well, how hard can it be to keep the version list up to date :wacko: ...

They wouldn't even need a highly paid virus research professional to do that,

any intern could be used to look up the current versions on the manufacturer's

websites and update the list once a week or so.

Heheh, even the janitor could do that in a coffee break ...

(no condescension to the janitor intended )
