@ Login..msg: "no Av Soft Installed" For 2 Seconds..

Hope i'm not being paranoid here,


I have Internet sec 2008 trial installed & , @ login to XP.. it says for 2-3 seconds in system tray that "There is no Anti Vir. Software installed... " But this goes off after bitdefender icon appears ..


Isn't this risky....?


Cant bitdefender launch as one of the first programs at login :-?

    Dear Ramindu,


    You don't have to worry about that. It's just windows security center that needs some time to initialize BitDefender. About an infeciton you don't have to worry also because boot scan is already enabled.


    First you can disable some unnecessary startup items: press the windows button together with r now type msconfig press enter go to the startup (boot) tab and enter the names that you find under item for startup (boot) on this website. If you see an N,X or ? uncheck the box that you will find before the startup item in msconfig. Check also start,programs,startup (boot). After that press the windows button together with r now type regedit expand hkey_local_machine,software,microsoft,windows,currentversion,and press on run. Take a look at the right side there you will also see startup items enter them also on the website.
