Avc3.sys Missing Or Corrupt

I installed bitdefender 2012 demo around two weeks ago. Had my computer running overnight. This morning system had rebooted and windows failed to load.Error message was File:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\avc3.sys file is missing or corrupt. Tried Win 7 disc and repair but that didn't work. On researching the avc3.sys file it looks like a bitdefender file. How can i fix this?
