Bitdefender Bd.ren.bd.ren Problem

Hey i had my files and folder locked with folder lock xp and whn i installed bit defender it revealed my root kit hiden files and renamed or dunno changed exe or corrupted it and now all the files which were locked my documents and files are now named bd.ren.bd.ren like [03022008.jpg.bd.ren.bd,Motion.bd.ren.bd.ren,3D-Game Programming.bd.ren.bd.ren] some of these files are very important to me how can i get these .bd.ren.bd.ren removed after each and every file and get my files back to normal as before please help i m doomed brothers.....Please suggest me a solution i am afraid to uninstall my anti virus as i dunno what will happen to these files after i remove so suggest me wat measure can i take to get these files back to normal

I have the exact same problem, important files all locked by .bd.ren and I tried so hard to fix this, it would be very helpful if someone knows how to fix it.

Try to recover your corrupted files by using this tool. This is only if you are using Folder Lock from newsoftwares.If that still fails you have to contact livechat which you find them here. Select technical support.

Thanks for the reply, I use to have Folder lock but I got rid of it and now I'm using Microsoft my private folder, for more security big mistake I geuss. So I geuss I'll try the live chat that you suggested. Thanks again

I am using Folder Lock software to protect my folders and files. And I meet the same problem with name of files and folder. I try to use program Recover above for recovering but it is not successful.

Because I have many files and folder in list of Folder lock, so I can not change each name as manual.

How can i solve this problem? Please support me in this case.

Hello again, I tried the livechat for BitDefender and that never helped me at all. I tried one person and they said they knew what was happening and they would send me some instruction to my email to fix it but that never happen it's been more then a month. I also tried a few more time and they don't seem to have a clue what's going on, one guy kept trying to convince me that it wasn't BitDenfer doing this but I'm 100% sure because when I did virus search in bitdefender all the locked files poped up on it and it asked me to pick certain option for what to do, and I did what they suggested which was a huge mistake. So anyway I'm still stuck and would love to have some help on this. Thanks
