Antivirus Scan Icon Randomy Appears In System Tray

I installed Bitdefender 2014 Antivirus Plus on my Windows 8.1 Pro. I had no problems for last 2 weeks. But, after yesterday's updates I find the antivirus scan icon randomly appearing in the system tray. It disappears after displaying the notification.

I found a similar thread on this forum at http://forum.bitdefender.com/lofiversion/i...php/t47069.html . I think my PC is alright, as I began to see this issue after a recent update.

Also the system tray icon does not show up when I manually initiate a sytem scan, ie. when it really should :blink: :wacko: .

Any suggestions on what to do is appreciated :rolleyes:

Check your Windows Notifications settings there could be a problem there. Taskbar---->Properties------->Customize.

Thanks for the suggestion. My Notification settings are alright. After yesterdays update it seems to be working fine :wacko: .

Cant seem to edit my previous post. The problem is still there. However now I can find the AV scan icon in the systray when i run a manual scan.
