Upgraded Xp To Vista

I bought BitDefender 2008 in January and installed it in XP. I upgraded to Vista yesterday on the same computer. Now BD says my product code is no longer valid. I can buy a new one for about $25! No way; I still have 287 days left on my current account info.

I re-entered the code and it says it is expired. How do I get it to work? I'm afraid to uninstall what I have for fear I'll be completely finished. Any suggestions?

Tech support came through. I received a nice e-mail telling me how to proceed. It worked. I'm a happy camper now. I had to run the BitDefender Uninstall program, download BD 2008 again, and use the same key code I had before. It had the same number of days remaining I had before.
