2014 Total Security Won't Install

I thought I had it installed on one computer but it said cannot turn on on access scanning so I tried to repair the installation, for two days it says 50% installed and will not allow me to do anything, including delete and reinstall. It is not listed in start menu, it will not uninstall, reinstall or delete.

The second computer is going just as poorly. It tells me to restart and it won't so I have to force it to shut down because the screen is black then it tells me it can't proceed without a restart.

This is frustrating and time consuming.

Both computers have windows 7 32 bit without any other security software installed.
