Bitdefender Firewall Blocking Battlefield 4 Login

Hi,

When trying to play Battlefield 4 Multiplayer at EA/Origin logon it fails if "Block Port Scans" is on.

I am using BD TS on Windows 8.1 64 bit.

If I disable Block Port Scan there is no problems.

This is not an issue for Battlefied 3, only 4.

Can this be fixed?

You may not be able to upload the BDSP_ log resulted on your Desktop here as it is too big so you can put it on www.sendspace.com and post the download link.

Hi all,

I like to pick up this thread regarding to BF4 and Origin.

At the moment the only possibility to use those tools is to disable Bitdefender.

http://uploaded.net/file/892qm3qb is the Support File.

Logs seem to be without errors.

I'm a senior storage engineer so I could to a high level of troubleshooting if required.

I tried to use the search to figure out how to open the ports and found for example:

where I have to modify a xml file manually.

Is this also the recommended solution from Bitdefender?
