How To Disable Bd On Startup

Hello all: I'm a new user and satisfied with the product. Am wanting to not have it start up automatically. I'm a novice at this. I have the shortcut on my desktop and would rather run it when I want to. Is that possible and how to do it?

Dear Chastur,

Yes that is possible. Right click on the red BitDefender icon near the system clock press on open advanced settings. Press on advanced uncheck load BitDefender at Windows Startup press on ok. But I wouldn't advise that you do this because you are unprotected at the boot stage.
