Hello I run linuxmint 16 32 bit. never had any problems with linux
but like to be sure so I installed bitfender. It installed and updated
but w3hen I click scan it simply diapears. How to get it to scan?

also, in my experience you do need an AV Scanner in Linux if you intend to use the OS dual boot on the same system as Windows, share files across the two OS and/or
share files with other Windows users.
