Can't Install Total Security

Hi. I've been dealing with tech support on this but 48 hour turnaround is a bit long...Maybe someone can answer faster. I've been trying to upgrade from my Total Security 2012 to the newest version after just purchasing a new key. It didn't work.

Everytime I try to install it, it stops at 1% Analyse and that's it. No progress from there.

I have used the Uninstall tool.

I have then tried to install with the offline tool.

I haved used the Uninstall tool in Safe Mode.

Still doesn't work.

It's an HP Dv6 Laptop

Windows 7 SP 1

AMD Dual Core 2ghz

4 gb RAM

64 Bit operating system

Again... I get to the start up screen. Launch and at 1% it just stops running and closes down... NO error message. I've run the tool they gave me

to get additional configuration information from my system but all the came back to me with was to run the Uninstall Tool in Safe Mode which has made

no difference.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

I had similar problem where it would freeze. It was caused by incompatibility. Make sure you close all the programs running in taskbar etc.

If you are still dealing with this issue, please post here a support tool log to further investigate the case:

    http://www.bitdefender.com/support/how-to-...t-log-1168.html

    or

    http://bitdefender.com/diagnostic

You may not be able to upload the BDSP_ log resulted on your Desktop here as it is too big so you can upload it on www.sendspace.com and post the download link.

    Thank you!
