Slow Download By Internet Download Manager When Using Bd Int. Security.

Hi

I'm using Windows XP SP2,With bitdefender internet security 2008....I use a wireless lan to connect to a server for the net connectino...I use for download the internet download manager program...But I feel the download in slow and the program hangs everynow and then when trying to open a new connection when it fragment files during downlaods...Is there a setting I can apply to make the IDM download more free and faster ?

Note:I compaire Bitdefender slow download with the previously installed Norton internet security 2008 where the download was much faster .....

Hello mahanddeem,

Try this open BitDefender by right clicking on the red BitDefender icon near the system clock press on open advanced settings. Navigate further to the the privacy control section put the slider on default.

On some computers the http traffic scanner can cause slown downs. Navigate to the antivirus section press on custom leve uncheck scan http traffic and press on ok.
