Autoscan Scans Run Into Problems

Options

I don't seem to run into scanning problems when I manually do them. But automatic scanning seems to run into problems. I think I am better off putting BitDefender into user mode rather than autopilot. I do a system scan once a week and a quick scan every day.

My Uncle faces similar issues, resulting in hanging of the system. Sometimes, shutting down directly becomes the only solution for us.

    Welcome to the Bitdefender forums.

This issue was fixed by automatic update of Bitdefender starting with the build number 17.18:

If the situation persists and you have the latest Bitdefender build version, we need a support tool log from the affected computer, to investigate the situation and eventually forward it to our developers.

[How to check the build number]

Right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray -near the clock- and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number 17.26.0.1106

Upload the BDSP_* archive resulted on your Desktop on a file transfer site of your choice such as http://www.speedyshare.com/ or http://www.fileconvoy.com and then reply back with the download link so we can retrieve it.

    Thank you!
