How Does On-access Scan Work?

I installed BD IS promotional yesterday. i donloaden and unpacked about 100 pcs new malware.

I wonder why didn't BD reat to this? It seems to happily leave the infected files in my computer. A manual scan deletes about 97& of them. As I don¨t have virtualisez my system I do not dare to launch them to seee if BD reacts. Dashboard shows everything is fine.

I had to change account as my email was showing as display name.

I made a repair installation and after it everything seems to work 100%. Now can the real testing commence!

Would such installation errors get detected by testing with the EICAR file?

I wonder how many of us are happy and oblivious that their systems may not be protected.

You must first disable the web-protection, at least in my case it blocked downloads but not disk operations like copying. A tricky thing. Good that I tested with live malware in password protected zips.
