Flash Video Dont Stop Loading Even With Closed Browser

Hello,

Im using Bitdefender Total Security. Everything works fine, exept the really annoying bug, that flash videos keep loading even when I close my browser and it is using all my bandwidth. The only thing I can do is to restart my computer. Before I installed Bitdefender I was using Norton, where the bug didnt exist.

What I read about that bug is, that it is well known, but Bitdefender does nothing to fix this. Regarding threads i read are these:

http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=40908

http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=40768

http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=42438

As we can see, some of these threads are dated with 2012.

Is there any chance of fixing this bug?

Greeting,

Jonny

    thanks for your reply!

Wont fix it. Tried it and didnt work for me. I use the latest version and even completely reinstalled my computer (formated hdd, reinstalled windows, latest driver, latest programs). There is no change. Bug exist nevertheless. And I think it is no good sign, that there is no technical support here in this topic. Im very disappointed.

    Hello jonny5,

For problems like this you need to contact Bitdefender via email or one of the other contact methods -

    http://www.bitdefender.com/support/consumer.html

    http://www.bitdefender.com/en/Main/contactEmail

They will raise a support ticket and hopefully sort it out, simple things can be dealt with on the forums but they will need more information from you.

  • Hi Jonny5!

Yes, this is a very old issue with Bitdefender, but there is a fix for it.
