This file just appeared out of seemingly nowhere onto my desktop. Could it have been part of an update? Has it automatically edited my registry? Can I delete it?

    This isn't part of an update but that file is created once you have runned the diagnostic tools that are being described here. That file exports what the values are of the BitDefender registry keys in your registry.
