Bitdefender Free Is Blocking Print Jobs

Hello,

I have BitDefender running on two different machines, one is using windows vista and the other windows 8.1 and in both machines I have to turn Bitdefender free edition

of to be able to print.

My printer is a Canon pixma mp640 and I'm using Bitdefender v 1.0.21.1099.

When I try to print something the document goes to the spool but remains there until I disable bitdefender.

Hi!

I have exactly the same issue. I have four Windows 7 and one Windows 8.1 computer running with Bitdefender Free 1.0.21.1099. All computer can't print on a Canon MX885 and Canon MG5250 network printer until I disable the virus shield, but the scan functionality works. So... if I disable the virus shield and restart the printjob it works. How I can fix this issue without disabling the virus shield?

Update: I experimented a lot, but the issue still exists. I think this issue applies Canon printer only. I tried Bitdefender with an Epson and Kyochear printer and there is still no problem.

Are there any messages in LOGS regarding this? Anyway, it may be advisable to contact Bitdefender's Customer Support regarding this problem.
