Can't Access Internet Through Huawei E173 Mobile Wifi Modem

Dear Sir/Madam

I am a new user here, glad to know y'all.

I'm using BD 2014 on my laptop using Windows 8.1 32-bit. But I cannot access internet over my Huawei E173 mobile wifi modem, unfortunately. I have tried rebooting, but it does not resolve the problem. However, when i try to use other AV, there is normal connectivity.

Has anybody faced a similar problem, or have a suggestion / solution to the problem?

Any help is going to be appreciated. Thanks so much.

From what you posted it seems you are not using BD AV Free but another BD product like BD AV 2014 or BDIS 2014 etc. If that is the case they come wiith a firewall. You many have to manually configure the firewall if you are indeed using BD AV 2014 or any other BD 2014 program. BD AV Free has no year asociated with it.

Fyi, i have no problems connecting to the internet after disabling Virus Shield of BD.

I've pretty much narrowed it down to the following:

Billion BiPAC 7300NX 3G

Netgear MBRN3000

D-Link DWR-113

Trendnet TEW-655BR3G or TEW-656BRG

They are all pretty much in my price range and all are compatible.

I cant seem to find review for them though!

Does anyone know which would be the better one to go for?
