Bitdefender Free Blocking Css On Sharepoint Websites

OS: Windows 7 SP1 x64

Browsers Tested: IE11.0.10, FF30, FF31

Problem Website: http://www.waterandflood.com

Website Hosting: Office365 SharePoint 2013

Issue: When Virus Shield is enabled the vertical scroll-bar on the right side of both IE11 and Firefox31 disappear.

Resolution: Disabling the BT "Virus Shield" and reloading the site will bring back the correct CSS and style information for the SharePoint website.

Is there a way to figure out what aspect of the website is being "flagged" by BT as malicious (we get no blocking warning in the logs), and blocking a crucial aspect of this website?

Any help would be appreciated!

I think there maybe be malware detected on that site the reason why it was blocked. But I think that turning virus shield off will get you at he work around but beware. You will be unprotected here.

You can also send false positive reports on this sub forum. Let's just hope that there will be an update about a pop up warning though.

Normally Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition warns before entering a website if it is found to be malicious and prompts the user to take the risk of entering such site. However sections of a webpage may be blocked without warning if they come from a different domain as in this case. This was also the case in another topic in this forum I just saw. There are several indications of these blocks in the file gzserv.log in Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition's program folder. For your website, they state "...HTTPAV Cloud link infected http/cdn.sharepointonline.com/...". However the person looking at a web page would need to know something is missing. You are right to think there should be another warning but I do not know if there would be warnings with any other security solution.

I checked with a Free Online Virus, Malware and URL Scanner that uses several scan engines and only Bitdefender finds cdn.sharepointonline.com a malware site. Perhaps you should submit the site to Bitdefender as a false positive. Please do that! Meanwhile, if you navigate to that page and assume the risk of opening it, then you can open www.waterandflood.com with scroll bar (and background!).
