Wanting to upgrade from BIS 2013 to BIS 2015

Not a good look on "the" Bitdefender web-site

- I found myself watching KIS outperforming (speed) BIS

- but looks like KIS disallows anything with adware

- if I side stepped all adware most non-commercial programs with adware would be disallowed by KIS

- Open Candy is a pain ... but the reality is that adware is the latest plague of downloads

- all adware is a nuisance -- and mostly can be uninstalled

- at least Bitdefender allows me the option to download or not ... lets me decide.

- nothing like a dose of adware or a virus to hopefully wake careless users to take responsibility for their own actions

I have been buying BIS from a local Bitdefender agent in Australia for the last 2 years.

- their phone support is so good I don't bother with email support (nor the local "branch" of Bitdefender Corp)

The best test bed is a virtual drive, download and install and see if the crapware can be uninstalled ... IMHO

And if this thread survives past Bitdefender admin ... at least fix the Bitdefender web page ...

I am not seeing the comparison video. Running the video from the the YT video on the installation page is correct and if you click "Watch on You Tube" at the bottom of the inset video it is also correct, taking you to

. I am not sure where you get the comparison video from that page.

It is indeed listed as 1st video in the top of the related videos (to the right of the video player) on youtube page if you click the watch on youtube button. nothing Bitdefender can do about it really. however on the bitdefender page the correct installation guide plays for me too.

I don't know how it happened, but now the link works as it should.

- maybe I unknowingly clicked on the side link and assumed what was displayed was the intended video

- we will never know ... my original submission on this thread was incorrect
