Product downgrade

How can I downgrade to a previous version?


I've recently updated my installation to the 2015 product, and I really don't like it at all. It's too intrusive, and if i drop it below its own default settiings, it just nags me and flings alerts about the settings needing to be "fixed". (Why even have the settings available if the product doesn't operate equably once you choose them?)


So, how do I downgrade?

    Hello MacEachaidh,


    Uninstall your 2015 version, either via the Control Panel or from Start> All Programs> Bitdefender 2015> Repair or Uninstall.


    Download the 2014 version from here - http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=46845 You can use your existing license to validate it.

    I didn't realise the installables were available here for download, so thanks for the link. My licence is almost up for renewal, so I'll give 2014 a try, and see if that makes me happier. I was thinking I'd have to look for another vendor.
