How To Upgrade From Internet Security To Total Security

Hi I am currently using Bitdefender Internet Security 2015 and so far so good but I want to upgrade to Total Security.

I am not a computer expert so can someone please help me on the proper way on upgrading from Internet Security to Total Security step by step?

So far, I already downloaded the Bitdefender Internet Security 2015 installer

I am using Windows 8.1 64 bit

The two require different license keys, your BD IS key will not work on BD TS. The way to try to sort this (apart from buying Total Security which I am sure you would like to avoid doing) is to send an e-mail to Bitdefender and ask if you can upgrade.

Okay this is the scenario. My brother already bought a license key of Total Security.

So what now? What do I do now?

Ah, OK.

Download and run the TS installer found here -

It will find and ask if you want to uninstall BD IS, say yes and let it do its work. It also at some stage asks if you want to reinstall IS or install TS - make sure you choose the right one, there will also be a reboot required.

Let the install TS complete and you will be able to add the license key for it that you have.
