Bitdefender And Dell Notebook
Hi Support Team,
I just bought 2 new DELL laptops, Inspiron 1420 with Vista Home Premium. I also bought 2 set of new Bitdefender Internet Security 2008 for them. However, the Bitdefender is not working properly. First, it keeps asking for the CD key everytime I start the Vista. Then all the function inside the Bitdefender such as Virus protection, firewall are disabled. I have restart so many times and still have no luck.
The funny thing is both DELL laptops are not working properly with Bitdefender. Personally I am also using Bitdefender in my HP laptop and have no problem. So I wish to find out what I can do for my 2 new DELL laptops.

There shouldn't be any problem between these two products but let's see how we can solve this problem and let's try the following:
- Download the Uninstall Tool from here : http://www.bitdefender.com/uninstall
- Run it and restart your PC after the program has done uninstalling.
- Download the latest BitDefender Internet Security Kit form here: http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...ty_2008_32b.exe
- Install the kit and restart the PC after it finishes installing.
- And the last thing that you have to do ist to tell us if everything worked fine, and if it is working now.

I tried this method before but still can't solve the problem.
I already uninstall the bitdefender twice from the new laptop. First I install from the CD. Second time I installed using the method you recommended. However, both laptop are still not functioning well with the antivirus after the attempts.
