Almost every time I start the computer I get this message for a few seconds: bitdefender antivirus is turned off. Is it normal or I am indeed without protection then? Screenshot attached:
I used to get that also.
I switched from V10 to 2008.
I was using Vista at the time.
i also get that message i have 2008 bitdefender. i have also been getting the message bitdefender is not responding if this continues contact bla bla...when i have been surfing....i tried to get on bitdefender site but my system froze and when i reboot it says... no signal so i cant even turn it on. i have told them about it about 3-4 days ago and so far had no reply from them..... i am using my laptop at moment so if anyone can help i'd really apreciate it..... but i am comp illiterate so would need things explained very basic. thanx

Please unistall BitDefender using the special uninstall tool, an reinstall BitDefender. This should solve your problem. Please come back and keep us in touch with your progress.
