For those who want to be notified by your Bitdefender of a reboot being required, can open the main BD UI /Personal settings icon at the top/General Settings/Update tab/Postpone reboot to off, and you'll receive a notification as shown below.

I have Update in General Settings set to

    1. Automatic update

    2. Silent update

    3. Postpone update.

I have never seen the picture you are showing above. What I do get is a number showing up in the Widget on the desktop and when I go to Events it indicates a restart is needed to apply an update.

Maybe you see what you are showing in the picture when the Widget is turned off

  • 3. Postpone update.

    Postpone reboot.

  • Hi, Nesivos :)

What you are seeing is what I get when I have it set as per Rampant's image in his post (postpone reboot to off).

I do have my widget set to always be on top, so you are correct, it would show a # 1 for an Event that needed attention. It would also show up as a blue dot on the Personal settings icon/Events of the main BD UI.

I was also just just a way of showing others the option to set for that pop up, which I did get, and posted the screen shot in my original post. I just didn't include the bottom right where I have my widget which showed a 1. For those who don't have the widget always on top, or open their BD main UI that often, can be helpful..kinda like "Paranoid mode" alert for a reboot update ^_^ And as Christian mentioned in his post, can be rebooted when desired, and doesn't have to be right at that moment.

My settings, as per Rampant's showing us the correct setting to get the pop up notification:
