Raw Firewall Logs

Hi,

Does BD keep more "verbose" firewall logs anywhere?

The ones in the event console are overly simplified and are not of much use for someone who really wants to monitor the internet traffic on the machine.

I know this has been a possibility with older versions. Are the logs still accessible in the 2015 line of products?

Hello,

The verbosity log is no longer shown in Bitdefender 2015 interface, but it can still be accessed. It's here:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Firewall\bdfirewall.txt

hi,

i was looking to see if Bitdefender had firewall logs and a search led me to this thread.

i looked in the location as described above for bdfirewall.txt but the file is not there.

is there any other way to view the logs or any reason why it does not show up for me ?

It is definitely there as described and is not a hidden folder. Which version of Windows and Bitdefender are you using?

hi thanks for the reply, i am using BD TS 2015 as well.

the firewall log has shown up now, but I don't think its working correctly ?

i am reinstalling windows and windows updates and bitdefender is always the first thing i install.

here are the last few entries in the log.

This new BitDefender gets great reviews, but I find it to be junk.

I used to recommend it to others who have purchased it, not anymore !
