I just started getting this error and it seems it is a problem with BD server. Everything else is working fine, -programs, internet, etc -
Is there an alternate server address?

The last two update attempts shown for me also have encountered an error 1008. It is a bit too soon to panic, wait for another hour or so and if there is a problem BD will hopefully be trying to sort it out.

OK, I just ran a manual update on both my desktop machines and it was successful, looks like a temporary fault.
