Bitdefender Internet Security And Outlook 2013 - Hotmail

I am using Bitdefender Internet Security and Outlook 2013 to connect to my Outlook Hotmail exchange activesync (Office 365) account.

When the firewall is off, it works fine. When the firewall is on, it doesn't work.

Support had me try changing the adapter LAN settings to Home/Office Stealth: Off and Generic: On

Also tried to disable SSL Scanning for web protection and Anti-Spam.

None of those options worked. The only thing so far is to turn off the firewall.

It seems there are many problems with Office 365 / outlook 2013.

Outlook 2013 & Office 365

Maybe you could use Outlook 2013 RT instead? (other ways to connect to your email)

Setup Office 365

Will the firewall accept this other option?

or maybe in your control panel, there is a case to activate or deactivate?

I suppose you have:

1 firewall (and only one)

1 antivirus (and only one)

Please give information on your system, it could help BD techs.
