Ignored Or Very Late Support Response

I have been trying to sort out my subscriptions to Bitdefender.


I have a 3 pc license but on renewal an old subscription was renewed automatically-this was for just 1 pc


I opened a "ticket" -24 hours for a reply which is non relevant


I opened another ticket- reply again 24 hours and I replied to the email -no response


48 hours later I emailed again and waited


24 hours later a response from Mihaela Partica apologizing for the emails and tickets being ignored and a please respond to this email for a solution (combining both keynumbers and a refund)


I emailed but of course-no response at all


26 hours later I re sent the email with no reply again


I AM STILL WAITING FOR A RESPONSE


I have been dealing with this for over a week -the tardiness of Bitdefender in replying is shocking. I have wasted so much time on what should have been sorted on the first email


I feel that I am owed an apology but of course if I send another email it will again be posted in the pending file and another week OR SO will slip by.


What an awful company to deal with

    Bitdefender was my choice 3 years ago but now I quit.


    In September 2014 my updates were stalling. I was advised to upgrade from 2013 to 2015 ... it did not solve the problem.


    I was manually updating at 3am local time and the size of updates was growing at an alarming rate.


    Georgia (apparently the only Bitdefender tech on this forum ) is obviously overloaded.


    I upgraded to 2015 on the advice of a volunteer, who, after 8 days, was wrong


    2015 UI has been dramatically changed (A Win8 "revelation" by Bitdefender)

    - another thread enquiring about "Do I need Malwarebytes" http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=54316 ... has been ignored for 7 months


    The wash up is after uninstalling/installing 2013 > 2014 > 2015 > 2013(again) ... all I had to do was re-install 2013


    - but 8 days of no AV, and I run a business, depending on the web.


    In the last 12 months Bitdefender have extended my subscription twice due to their mistakes.


    eMail support is a dead loss because it can take a week (or more) to get a reply (if you are lucky) and then when I have a reply there is absolutely no way to identify which request. Like the only emails I receive is from Bitdefender <img class=" /> . I have had multiple email questions but the Bitdefender robot quotes nothing other than "your problem" (or words to that effect). So I have to email asking "which problem" of several ... and you guessed it, wait another week.


    When I tried to report a scam (that was posing as Bitdefender) I went around in circles for 3 days trying to find a link, other than the circular report false/positives .. false/false on FAQs page. And then the only hopeful listed link was a dead !


    I have come to the conclusion one evaluation of an AV is to read a lot of their forum threads, particularly dates.


    - not everybody comes back with their "solved" message but orphan threads, like this one, are a very good guide of "support" or none.


    I have already selected another AV program, even 10 years of freebies wont temp me back to Bitdefender.


    I have kept all documentations, emails, threads for anyone interested ... but I doubt there will be a murmur from Bitdefender.
