I try to install Bitdefender Internet security 2015 on infected PC, But after 25% of installation, installaton process is stucked.

How can i install Bitdefender Internet security 2015

Hello

Since Malwarebytes (free version) is "sanctioned" by Bitdefender as a second opinion scanner to run along side of Bitdefender, I would suggest to download it from their webpage, do an update, and run a Threat Scan and see what it comes up with. Also try BD online Quick Scan: http://www.bitdefender.com/scanner/online/free.html

Since it is against forum rules to "promote" another AV vendors solution, I will also PM you an online scanner to follow up with.

Then run CCleaner in Cleaner mode.

Download the full offline installer for BD 2015 IS from here: http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=54672

Download and run the BD uninstaller, just to clean up any temp files it created on the previous install attempt, then restart your PC: http://www.bitdefender.com/uninstall/

Then right click and run as admin, the downloaded BD IS file, if it asks you to check for the latest files for install, deny it for now, as that can be done later with a manual update.

If all goes well on the install, do the update (may take a bit of time) restart you PC, then do a System Scan.

Also had a similar problem yesterday.

When I tried to download bitdefender it appeared to be stuck.

But I checked on the resource monitor for received B/sec (Bytes per second), and saw that the download speed was very slow (70 kB/s). So I left it to run.

With the install step, there was also a download, which I left to run. It eventually completed. Not sure how long but it was at least half an hour. I walked away and left my PC. My downloads from other sites appeared to be faster. Not sure what the problem is. I thought it was my computer!

With a second computer installation it was faster (100 to 130kB/s)

While Installing BDIS 2015, There are 3 Steps :-

1)Scanning

2)Downloading

3)Installing.

Is there any option to Avoide Scanning Process and Install Directely BDIS 2015 ?????

Not that I know of, as mainly (also) what it's scanning for is incompatible software that would need to be uninstalled before BD could be installed properly with less problems and glitches.

Be sure to use and download using the full offline installer link I previously posted, as I'm sure you did

I think you'd better suppress malwares before installing anything.

You could download from a clean machine Bitdefender

BD Rescue disk

then download/install what you want as soon as the machine is clean.

Two years ago, I fixed a friend's machine with a BD rescue disk which was able to eradicate the worst "gendarmerie" virus.

Remember:

One (and only one) firewall.

One (and only one) antivirus.

One antispyware. (not often necessary now several vendors mix AV & antispyware.)

I use Malwarebytes without problem with BD TS 2014 - it is the free version (not real time analysis in order not to tamper with BD)
