Bitdefender Internet Security 2008 And Wireless
BitDefender and wireless problems, yep time to bring this up again. Before posting this ive done my part of research in googling and searching through bitdefender forums about this problem and it sounds like im not the only one. Theres something querky with bitdefender when it comes to a simple tasks dealing with wireless. Though the search results i've gotten through googling and forums are simliar their problems were alittle different, n most of them in different languages. Heres what i'm trying to do.
Transfer a small 3mb mp3 from my laptop to my computer via wireless. simple as that. I can ping my devices to each other which is good, but i can't transfer in or out any files at all, getting a "The specified network name is no longer available". However, when i try to transfer any file in/out to my other computer (bitdefender not installed) it works! amazing! This problem only occurs when its doing anything via wireless, cause when i access my files through lan wires i can transfer files through bitdefender firewalls or no bitdefenders easily. I've alrdy tried dissableing bitdefender firewall and/or closing bitdefender completely however transfers between files of 2 devices with bitdefender installed doesn't seem to work properly. Testing in other households, bit defender seems to be the reason for this difficulty.
Now im trying to read through the logs of the connections made through the bitdefender wireless and im trying to understand this but im not a programer and i dont understand any of this.

so i guess my question is can anyone help me, or has anyone been able to fix this?
or ..
im no programer but seeing this
"addr = 192.168.15.4 (is bcast = NO))", is there a way to enable whatever this bcast is?
or make it so this.. ICS public adapter determinable?
