Should We Uninstall Adobe Flash Now?

I have been told, and read a few stories about new vulnerabilities in the Adobe Flash Player. And have been advised to uninstall it for good.

Does BitDefender block viruses that come from Adobe Flash? Does it scan the flash player and files used to play the content? :unsure:

Or is it true, that even with a top-notch security program, we should still totally uninstall the Adobe Flash Player?

If you have an operating system or browser that can supply a more secure version of Flash (such as Microsoft Windows 10), then yes you should uninstall Adobe Flash. Same goes for Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is better to use the browser's default PDF reader (such as is available with Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome) than to use a third-party Adobe plug-in for the browser.
