Renew Early And Get Our Limited Time Offer

I have Bitdefender 2015. I received an email from Bitdefender saying "Renew Early And Get Our Limited Time Offer" . It also said "Renew early and you will get:

• The latest edition of Bitdefender Total Security". I was expecting 2016 as it was a renewal but I got 2015 again. I assume the 79 days remaining on mine will have 365 added to them ?

Is Bitdefender 2016 released yet and, if so, why didn't I receive it?

Upgrading to a different version is something you have to do yourself, details on how to do it are here -

Your paid license/subscriptions are transferable to 2016 and will merge so you don't loose any time.

Hi...A warning. If you originally purchased BD thru Avangate, make sure you check your Avangate account and uncheck the automatic renewal box. This company uses negative billing and you will be charged again (at full retail price) even if you have received and accepted a promotional offer from BD.
