Error - Sent To Printer

BitDefender is causing "Error - sent to printer" - pages don't print fully when using wireless printer (Epson SX430w).

"bdfirewall.txt" has these two errors:

2015/09/25 16:11:48.267 [bDFW] Error: BdprIoSendData failed with error code c0000225.

2015/09/25 16:11:48.267 [bDFW] Error: BdprIoSendDisconnect failed with error code c0000225.

I have to turn OFF BitDefender Free Edition if I want to print which makes no sense. I already tried resetting my printer to factory defaults, reinstalling drivers, checking my wifi connection, etc, the culprit is BitDefender. Using Win 7 x64.

Been using BD Free since mid-2013, after nearly an 8-month hiatus, on 10/01 I installed it on a clean-installed Windows 7 x64 setup.

I am also seeing the exact same errors in the bdfirewall.txt log. My printer is on my wired LAN and working OK, so I can't offer any input for one that is on WiFi.

I am fairly certain the errors have to do with the bdfwfpf.sys firewall driver. It is Started and running, and while the Proxy Redirectory (bdpredir.dll)is loaded, I do not see the same for the User-Mode Module (fwlibrary.dll).

BD Free has no firewall, of course, and these are most likely related to the Intrusion Detection System as described on the Web page: "Ensures that applications trying to access the Internet or the network are not masked malware. Intrusion Detection is automatically alerted when such apps behave in a suspect manner, and blocks them when they go over the limit." One may assume the driver and library components are no longer reliable.

That said, I have observed the proper and effective functioning of the bdcore engine, Active Virus Control and Gonzales/Nimbus (the cloud thing). Signatures for both file scanning and AVC are updated reliably; Nimbus servers are consistently queried when accessing the Internet for content and downloads for pretty much all Internet-facing applications, not just browsers.
