Bdrsdrv Service Failed To Start
I'm getting Event Log entries about these three services failing to start.

Description:
The bdfdll service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.
They appear right after "The BitDefender Virus Shield service entered the running state" messages.
This is on a fresh install. I've even tried a repair.
Any ideas?

First of all which BitDefender solution are you using? BitDefender Internet Security 2008, BitDefender Antivirus 2008 or BitDefender Total Security 2008?
Please try this press the windows button together with r now type devmgmt.msc press enter. Go to the view (display) menu,click on show hidden devices. Now expand the non plug and play compatible drivers look for bdftdif double click on it see if the device is enabled after that press on the driver tab the status should be on started. Startup type should be set on system.

I'm using Bitdefender Free v10, actually.
There is no BDFTDIF under Non-Plug and Play Drivers.0 -
Same Problem here. Found that Posting trough google.
Im using Bitdefender Internet Security 10.
When trying to start bdfdll as Niels describes, i just get an "The system cannot find the file specified".
Any Help on this?
