Whenever I have BitDefender scan my system it freezes when it reaches the folder System Volume Information. I used the first method described by Cris in this forum to delete the System Restore Points. However, it apparently did not remove the infection. I was unable to use the second method described by Cris because I had no option called "Use simple file sharing" in Tools->Folder options...-> View. I also set the exception that the folder System Volume Information was not to be scanned. Nevertheless, BitDefender scans still freezes at that folder.
