Bdlog.txt At Root Of File System Is Poor Form

I just noticed BitDefender is placing a file called bdlog.txt at the root of my file system (c:\). That's very poor form in my humble opinion. Can't this file be placed in "ProgramData"?
Theres a whole bunch of hidden files next to bdlog which i can only assume are from bitdefender as well.
