File Know To Be Clean

Hello , I use Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition and I wanted to know what are the "files known to be clean" found at the end of each scan.

Hi Jack90,

Bitdefender uses a feature called SmartScan that allows previously checked files to be skipped. Those files were not modified in any way and are known to be clean.

This is used to speed up the scan without allowing any vulnerabilities.
